so for the past couple of days my oil light has been on when i am riding. i of coarse checked to make sure there was oil in it, and even topped it off, but it didn't resolve the situation. i was thinking of putting some seafoam in the oil, and maybe that might fix it. sound like a good idea or does anybody have any other suggestions?

This might not help, but I notice that on my I get the oil light on when my battery is almost dead. Like I said might not help but should be quick and easy way to check.

well i charged up the battery and it seems to have worked. now my question is why did my battery get so low? what is the life of moped batteries. i have the 2006 key west, and have had it for 3 yrs with about 3k miles on it, but that is in Wisconsin where you can only ride it for about 4 months of the year

about 2 1/2 years maybe 3 seasons is about average with the stock battery.
you may get a little longer life if you keep it on a trickle/float charger during winter..
