short answer  yes maybe 4 months or so
the US TGB importer has for the last few winters
been slacking off on the shipments in the off season due to
our economy . add that they only get parts air shipped  since
they don't get container loads  of scooters  with the parts added
for filler .
as for the cost i have to look it up and to really confirm i need to call.

It did take four months for the part to come in and guess what it still would not charge to full voltage so they had to replace the rectifier which is what I asked them to do months based on your recommendation.

"if replacing the stator doesn't fix it you shouldn't pay a dime for the labor or part" is what you said Harry and amazingly enough I just reminded him that I asked for the reciter months ago and balked at waiting for the stator. He immediately took the cost of the stator off the ticket.

So far she is charging but in the year I have owned the scooter it has not run more than 4 days so still waiting to see if it is a long term fix or not.

Thanks,
Harry

i love it when a plan comes together!
;)
well the good thing is that your repair shop guy was honest and didn't
charge you for replacing a part  that was still good.
