I guess this question is directed more for Harry as our in-house expert but since spring is getting closer (here in Chicago probably couple months away) would like to get ready. So questions 1 – would should I focuses on for the spring/yearly maintenance, and 2- one thing I want to do is to change the final gear oil – so can some one give me some steps/pointers on how to go about.

well that can be a lot
so check your owners manual (i'll get you one if you need it)
start as you winterize/ de winterize
change gear oil every 1000miles , i think  the manual says every
2k & 80 or 90 weight gear oil ..which is unlike other
scooters that would use 15/40  motor oil
clean & oil the air filter.
adjust the rear brake.
check lights,(should really check the lights work  before each ride)
top off oil injector tank.
add gas saver to tank and run  scooter for a few min or
until its in the carb. (if gas/scooter is stored for more than 90 days
and if it(gas) has ethanol in it , it will attract water plus you loose octane)
charge battery monthly or put on float charger. batteries can loose .75 -1v
every month , bad for battery life.
check if air ok in tires
check horn
every other year oil/grease all cables
change plug every 2k or so.
change the drive belt every 2k for best performance

stand at rear of scooter  on left side  look at gear box
find 1 bolt with a thick washer on bottom/rear of gear box
find 1 bolt on the rear of the gear box about horizontal/end of
the gear box with a thick washer
the washers may be  a slight different color than other washers
i use a pump style oil can with a flexible spout  to fill

scooters that have a oil port like that (horizontal)will use about 90-100ml of oil
or you can just fill until you see some starting to come back out , i think they
are done that way so you can't over fill and blow the seals
unlike other scooters that fill at the top of the gear box that you can over fill
by 2 or 3 times.
best to run the scooter for just a few miles and then drain when still warm
don't change after a long ride 'cause the oil gets real hot ! :o !
look at your owners manual for pictures.

thanks harry;

I only think I got was what I got from the Cobra Powersports General Reference section:

http://www.cobrasales.com/docs/TGB%20Service%20Manual%20-%20101S%20(BH1)%20-%20303R-50%20(BR1)%20-%20Delivery%2050%20(BK1).pdf

so if there is different/another one I could use, that would be cool.

So at parts store ask for 80 or 90 weight gear oil (they should know what I'm asking for)?

clean & oil the air filter.
Where is the oil filter?

Now do you sell accessories for KeyWest/S101?? I was looking to get the inside basket (Part # 413965, 413961) but is says it's for only R5/R9, 303 and delivery models? would it fit?

Thanks
Paul

the oil filter is inline as is the fuel filter
the oil filter is the small white plastic one  but you don't need
to change it for a long time.
the air filter is in the air box ;wash the filter w/ soap & water
dry and re oil w/ gas &30% 30w motor oil

yes i sell TGB parts and tuning parts ;as for the basket i don't know if it
will fit the KW.
