Hi, if anyone can help with this would be so grateful as I use my scooter everyday for commuting to work and Can't bear Londn underground anymore...
My sunset/202 classic cut out after going full throttle for a mile 3 times in 3 months, each time it would start again fine. Then it cut out and wouldn't restart, leaving me stranded. I got it home eventually after a really nice eygptian lad helped me in Battersea, I changed the fuel filter and cleaned the carb and jets (there was a deposit in one of them).
It now goes again but since the mend has no power on initial (gentle) twist of throttle then lurches a bit and eventually does build speed but it takes much longer and doesn't reach max speed anymore.
I should mention that there's some air in the fuel filter.
Does anyone please know what the problem is?
Thanks, Crips
