Ok so im very new to scooters but i got an 07 key west from a friend and it wont start... it has 28 miles on it but has been sittin around for the past 3 years... so far i drained the gas tank and put fresh gas in it, checked all fuel lines and petcock no blockage, pulled carb and this is what it looked like

i let it soak in seafoam fully submerged for 24 hours and cleaned it out jets and all along with carb cleaner through every opening to make sure all was clear. this is after

put back together and installed. then checked for spark by pullin plug and grounding on frame and there is spark... it starts up and runs and idles fine when i spray starter fluid in the carb but then dies out and bogs down... not sure what else to try??? autochoke?

ok that was bad . since it was so badly clogged
you really need to disassemble the carb completely !
soak in  carb cleaner and blow out every passage with air
and clean both jets to make sure they are totally clean if you can't see through
them clean again and use a wire from a wire brush to ream the gunk out.
try not to  scratch up the holes in the jets.
did you remove the auto choke and clean the passages?

and yes the scooter will  kinda die when you spray in carb cleaner
in the carb   mostly because  its not gas!
