what tgb do i have?

hi i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on what sort of tgb i have and where the location of the cdi is so i can disconnect the rev limiter....it has a 1e40qmb engine and the year is 03 i think. it also has akros on the side but im unsure if that is correct?and its 50 cc

Hi there,
Here is a site that I found a long time ago which helped me to derestrict my scoot,the most important thing to remember that you need the green cdi not the red one.You will need to remove the cover on the connector on the cdi,TO SEE IF ITS GREEN.
THIS WIIL SHOW YOU WHERE AND HOW TO FIND IT AND DO IT.MAKE SURE ITS THE GREEN ONE...

ok i have looked under there for the cdi and cant locate it....my scooter must be an earlyr model than 2003?

Its an Akros about a 2002 model,,you should be able to do these mods to it..

ok thanks for the info...if i was to have an earlyr model than the 02 what sort of mods could i do....do they stil have a cdi ?
