TGB Hawk 303r / Laser 50

Hello forum,

I just bough a TGB hawk 50. It run just fine except that the starter act a little bit. At first i though it was the battery so i change it and then i was able to start it with the electric starter a couple of time. But after a couple of start it start to act again. So i tough battery wasnt charging, but i get 13.9 volt when i rev the motor so i think i'm good there. I checked the rectifier to and i see power going to the battery and i know the cable to the battery is ok.

The starter turn but rarely get to the crank, when it does there not enough power to turn the motor.

Is there something that boost the power from the battery to the electric starter that can make it do that ?

check the starter relay

Would it be under the seat?

follow the starter wires back to the relay.

The relay sometime just make a clic sound and the starter doesnt turn and sometime the starter turn but seem to have trouble to gent to the crank or it doesnt turn fast enough

So i changed the relay, i charged the battery i will see now. Hope it was that.

did you jump the starter?
by bypassing the relay ?
 did it start?

When jumped it turned eveytime so pretty sure the relay was bad. But i didnt have enough power so that why i charged the battery and now i wait to see if the battery will get to low again. Maybe i had two problem.

Maybe not because the battery get at 13.2 ~ 13.4 when i tested it so i should be ok now.
