Electrical Issues

Just bought a Laser R9 151cc. The motor runs just fine. Starts up great with kick start. The problem is that the 10a fuse next to the battery keeps burning. Also, before the fuse burns, I'm only getting power to the turn signals, nothing else. I was wondering if there are any other fuses. I pulled the brake light lens off, and it looks like there's a spot for a blade fuse. Anyone know about this?

Well I found the problem. There was a bent tang in the brake light assembly. Everything works except the gauge lights. Can anyone give me info on this? Is there a separate fuse for the gauge lights? What kind of bulb does it use?

You can remove the gauges and the light bulbs are replaceable from the backside. If that doesn't work then I hae an extra set of R9 gauges for sale. Actually I am parting out my whole bike if you need anything.

Does the R9 you're parting out have grab handles or luggage rack on the back? I've been trying to track down a luggage rack, as my R9 has grab handles. Also, are the plastics in good condition? I wouldn't mind having an extra set.

It has the grab handles. I have a good set of plastics. I think the only one that is bad is the one that goes underneath. Let me know which pieces you are interested in and throw me a price.
