101r 125cc no power past half throttle

Hi,

My 101r 125cc wont run past half throttle, so i took the carby diaphragm out but
could not see any holes or cracks, so put it back and the bike was
fine for about a month. Took it out again and reinstalled it bike was
fine again. Is this pointing to a faulty diaphragm or could the
problem be elsewhere? I'm not sure why the problem would clear itself
by reinstalling the diaphragm if the diaphragm is faulty?

Thanks

well when you remove the  diaphragm
you are also removing the needle right?
so i'd look at some kind of build up  ,dirty jets

Good point. I took the air cleaner hose of the carb and had a look at the slide while reving the motor and the slide didn't move. Pulled the diaphragm out and it seemed to have a small amount of some kind of build up on it so i cleaned it up so that it moves freely. It seems ok, see how it goes over the next few days.
