I managed to get a hold of the service manual and I started checking if the coil and stator were in spec with the manual.
Here are the results:
HT Coil - Plug tip to ground
Spec: " 8KΩ±10﹪"
Actual: 11KΩ
Stator high voltage circuit to ground:
Spec: 224Ω±20﹪
Actual: 295Ω
Would both of these be considered in spec? or just the stator and the coil is not?
Do you guys think it needs a new ignition coil, a new CDI, or something else?
It has some specs for the CDI, I should really test that next but I haven't had a chance to yet.
