Noise/oil

I have a 2006 key west/101s. I love it except for one thing, it is a little too loud for my taste. However, I love the acceleration and top speed (vs. that of a 4 stroke) so I am looking at tuning the exhaust/muffler a little to hopefully reduce the noise level while (preferably) not losing performance. Does anyone know of a silencer or any other parts which could help with this issue? Other than the basic oil/gas are there any normal maintenance that may help?

Also, anyone have any recommendations for 2 stroke oil that (per the manual) is at least JASO FC class (FD I believe is just as good/better?)?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

if you have the stock pipe on still there is not much you can do to
quite it down  if its a after market pipe that is the nature of a less restricted
pipe --- more noise= more power

2 brands i sell are opti2 and amsoil both are top of the line product
i also have a 100:1 pre mix that if you mix 80:1 and you will have
the tiniest amount of smoke ...

First thanks for the response.

Would these products not work for the '06 key west?

Either just the silencer or a next R exhaust with a silencer?

Thanks!

The silent pro is just a muffler  whereas the
next r is a real performance pipe.

Do you know if the silent pro will perform a lot better than stock or not? And also I want to confirm that it is in fact compatible with the '06 key west?
