My starter was working fine before the cold weather set in. Now I can only kickstart my bike. Could this be an extreme cold issue, or something more serious. Battery is three years old...but I haven't even clocked up 2000 miles in that time.

Turn signals are flashing faster than normal, and oil light is on continuously - even though the tank is full.

three years is about all you get out of a battery especially if you have not put it on
a charger over winter(s)  battery should have about 12.5+ volts

Yeah...I realised that after I posted. I found out that my battery had completely dried up. I dunno how that happened, unless it froze. I decided on getting a new battery. I guess any 12V 9AH will do, as the one they put in my bike is very rare now. It was a GS. Thinking of getting a Power Sonic.

According to my manual, I can only use a 12V 9AH. That is what I currently have. It is tight though. It's dimensions are 5 5/16 x 3 x 5 1/2. I want to get a maintenance free one this time - and maybe a little smaller in height, as it seems a little big for the battery compartment.

I have a new battery, but I need to connect an eye connector to an f2. Is there an adapter for this anywhere? Can't seem to find one online.

It is an F2 terminal connection. It might have been a convoluted way of solving this, but i am stuck with it now. I think I need an f2 female disconnect plug and a ring terminal harness to make this connection. The F2 male terminal is 0.250" wide.

Would that work with my bike? I have connected up the one I bought, but I am getting a flashing red light on the tender. It may not work. I got a couple of f2 disconnectors, and a ring terminal harness to connect it up...and it was slightly too big for my compartment. :(

Yeah. I have tried connecting the wires directly to the battery terminal. it will not detect the battery via the tender. I need a new battery. 12V 9AH. Can you help? I had better stick with a ring connector.
