70cc upgrade on Laser 50cc

I just had my 50cc upgraded and now I have two issues.......

1. it is reving too high...when i come to a stop , it is almost pulling me...i have to keep the break on.

2. the bike won't shut off...it starts fine...but the kill switch and even taking the key out won't shut off the bike...i have to cover the intake with my finger until it dies.

please help with advice....the guy that installed the kit says he doesnt know and he is not helping...

the idle screw needs to be turned out 1/4 turn or so
or the throttle cable got shortened somehow
or the throttle cable adjustment barrel nut needs to be loosened.

perhaps the main jet is too big  it was changed
along with changing to a cooler spark plug , right?

i replaced the spark plug to a cooler plug
but i havent replaced the main jet...is that a problem????

yes you should have a 70-75 main with a 70cc kit.
or you will be too lean which leads to overheating & seizures.
of course you will have to readjust the mix screw when you
up jet, let me know if you want jets.
