Hello Everyone! I'm so happy to be apart of this forum and a proud owner of a TGB Key West. Even though its 2009 I just bought a 2007 Key West with 23.6 ORIGINAL miles! I couldn't believe it and whats more it that I got it for $800. Bragging aside I love this scooter, its my first one I've owned but I have riden a few others and they just don't even compare! :P
So to my questions.
Since I'm still on the breakin period and the parts are all new would one suggest that I still replace the belt with a kevlar belt right away and keep the stock belt as back up?
Is it too early to put a better variator (mrp) with Dr.Pully weights or would that added performace strain the engine too much this early or would it let the bike function better?
Is changing the gear oil something I could do and a super novice with friends who work on motorcycles or would I be better suited to see a dealer even if that means traveling 50 miles?
