Hey Olly . do you screw the screw out for more fuel or in? On my jet skis you used to screw out for more fuel but heard scooters are different depending where the adjuster is situated?

depends where the mix screw is.
if at the front of the carb it adds air
if its at the back of the carb it adds fuel
all mukini style 2t scooter carbs are air screws.

Hi Steve,
just an FYI I have put the 75 jet back in, reason being is the spark plug looked to be running a bit lean / hot.
Will run the 75 jet for a week or so and see how that goes.
Have you started on yours yet?

you can/ should put in a br9 with a 70cc kit or br8 if you have a pipe.
if you have the stock plug bpr7 you will be to hot and blow the piston..

Have got pipe on , Goes ok, definetely better in mid range, cruises easy at 65 plus now. Just waiting on the new clutch springs and main spring to make acceleration better off the mark

Hi Steve,
Think it was about 35km/h (terrible) so I went to 6 which wasn't much better, ended up going back to stock rollers.
Get to 70km/h no problem now also hill climbing is much better.

I have the new variator, I tried the pgram weights in it but was to slow of the mark, but think it would of got to 75 easily if i had more power, I will try playing around with it again once i put the new main spring and clutch springs.

Hi Steve / Olly,
One thing I've noticed since the upgrade is when the bike is cold it takes a good 3 or 4 minutes before it starts to run smoothly, generally it will splutter along then comes right. Once it's warm it runs perfect.
Any ideas?
