My KeyWest has about 630 miles on it.  When I am accelerating there kind of a high pitched whining noise it makes when the speedometer hits 30mph and stops when it hits about 35mph.  The whine is replaced by a vibration.  Not continuous but like a cycling womp.....womp......womp (if I were to try and say it). The faster I go the vibration gets shorter and closer together until it feels like a really fast continual soft thumping.  This is happening only when I am giving it gas. I can cruse down a hill with no gas at the same speed and I don't feel it.  Anybody have any ideas?

My 50cc TGB 101S is doing a similar thing.  Anyone have an idea of what it might be?
Feels like the band/variator is not balanced or something....

I also get a rapid vibration happening over about 60K/h (downhill), but I haven't removed the brass ring yet so I assume it has something to do with that restriction.  You think?

Am gonna get it all looked at under warranty anyway, but any help would be great so I know whether they should fix it or whether it's normal....

:)

well the first thing i would think it would be is tires/front brake-disc
second is speedo cable  , third body parts & then motor noise.
i find many times its handle bar turn signals or something of the sort.
but since your still under warranty just have the dealer be on the lookout
for it.

Thanks Harry,
Did you mean the fast vibration at 60ks?  Or the slow one that only happens up hills under power and builds up faster as you speed up then slows down as you're still speeding up?

yes on both in general, if there are no other symptoms with the noise
like no power or something .
