TGB Bullet RS50 problems with installing exhaust

Hi, yesterday I removed my muffler (?) to see if it had some sort of restrictions in it. As I could not find anything, I went on to try and re-install everything the way it previously had been. This is where the problems occured. I don't know how to screw these two screws (the other one is behind the pipe) properly in, and is there supposed to be something inbetween these two pipes? Do I need a penta screwdriver for these?

Thanks in advance,
Paal

go buy some new hex socket screws to replace the weird head ones
that are used by the factory......
most TGB's use a ring gasket between the head and the exhaust pipe
  i have them...if you can't find yours.
