Hello
Just bought me an R50X, it starts really easily but after a minute on idle it starts to revving by itself. 6-7000 rpm. I have bought a new throttle cable and throttle handle but the problem is still there. I also cleaned the carburator with petrol but nothing seems to help.

I dont know if the carb is stock, its marked HUAGUANG TECHNOLOGY OF JAPAN.

It did not help. Also tried to disconnect the e-choke plug but same result. I think i will buy a new genuine carb. Seems like it should be partno. 424026A.

so after 5 min the choke plunger was in its no choke position ?

most people expect the choke to operate right now  like a solenoid
but it doesn't . it takes quite a while for the thermal wax to  heat up.

to really clean a carb right you need to use a dip cleaner  not a spray. and compressed air .

Yes that is correct.

Yes i put the carb in a bath of petrol for two days. Then i used compressed air.

I dont really trust this china carb so i have orderd a new genuine mikuni carb. I will prob get it in two weeks. I will write if i have any success.
