I am thinking of purchasing a new 50cc Delivery bike, as my current one is 12 years old and needs too much work to fix now. Where is a good place to start looking? I live in Indiana and will probably need to have it shipped.

Thanks,

Steve

I ended up purchasing a 2018 direct from TGB in California. It started out as requesting a 2020 model, and they informed me just before they closed the deal that they only had 2018 bikes left.

I am looking for an owners/service manual for that year, as the engine seems different from the 07 version I had before.

Also, the manual I have states to use unleaded gas in the tank. My previous bike stated to just use premium, so do I use premium or any gas in this new bike?  My common sense seems to tell me to stick with premium.

Can you advise?

Steve

i found that  those  TGB people were people i didn't want to do any business with.
i had a customer that needed a seat and bucket.
they took my money and i didn't see the seat for over a year my customer was pissed.
good luck getting parts from them, they rarely had any when i needed them  .
when they get ready to make a order they would have
it shipped via air parcel and that is very costly and they will pass on the costs to you.

always use no ethanol  gas; oct rating 90
good luck

You were right Harry.  I had that bike a few months and the cargo box key snapped. He asked me for the number of the key, which I gave him. I can’t remember how long ago that was - as I have not been able to get back on this board for a while - but I am still waiting to hear back from him. It has to be over 6 months back. I thought it might be better to just order a complete lock and key set. So I am not getting much help with parts.

hey Steve,
Yeah they were not up to resolving any issue in a timely fashion.
did you buy the scooter from them?
If so hope you have good luck with the scooter as far as breakdowns go and not have any.

I did buy it direct from them, and it was brand new. I don’t expect any mechanical problems for many years. It is working great right now. It is just the parts situation I am concerned about.
