remove the seat bucket and look around there
however there isn't any unrestricted cdi's for
the r50x that i know of...
besides ,read your tach when your at wot going downhill, if your
doing 9.5 to 10k you will be waisting your $$$
because the re mapped,unlimited cdi's will only do 9.5-10k anyway.
you have to put in a cylinder kit and a good pipe before a unlimited
cdi will even be of any benefit on a stock scooter.
for the cdi to use the higher rpm you have to develop more rpm
somehow ;eg- pipe, cylinder, reeds , race crank.....
