TGB R50X 2009 - CDI

Can't go past 8000 Revs. Even if im going down a slight slope at 46, then i go down a really steep hill it wont go past 46MPH no matter what. Tried cutting the brown wire. It wouldn't start so i reconnected it. Heard that the newer models have been made UN-restrictable or whatever. How can I get hold of a unlimited CDI?

Where can I buy it and how much will it cost as i live in England. Also, is there any ways to de-restrict the CDI i have in place at this moment?

sorry, i don't know of any cdi's that works with the R50x.
 
i have many unresticted cdi's ,,one or 2 that *might* work
but i have not tested any on the R50x since i don't have one
to test.

no ,you have tried the cut the brown wire and it didn't work.
there is no way to un restrict the stock CDI.

 again what i have are untested on the R50x and they may or
may not work so its a $60 experiment.

Well, I just got the Tecnigas pipe fitted, reaches 45 going uphill as it cant go past 8k revs, and it gets 46 going downhill

It gets 44MPH with a second rider also, meaning it has alot more MPH in it.

I need to be able to get past 8k revs, please help me....

For the r50x you can also get a Leo Vince ZX or Zxr but it has to be for a Morini engine!
