My 2008 Key West (only 1500 miles) was bogging down and stalling out so I opened up the carb and did a thorough cleaning of the jets, bowl, etc. When I did this the bubble fuel filter emptied, of course, and now that I have it all back together again the motor will not start because no fuel is flowing to the carb. After many minutes of cranking the fuel filter remains bone dry and no fuel is flowing. I assume the reverse pressure fuelcock is not allowing fuel to flow. Now that I have everything back together, how do I reset the fuelcock so that fuel will flow and I can get back on the road? My tank is very low, below quarter tank. Will filling it up create enough outflow pressure ... that is all I can think of.
