101s scooter (key west)

im about to purchase a 101s TGB scooter and was trying to get some feedback on how reliable they are and how fast they go and if anyone knows the laws in Alabama about scooters please inform me of them.

Hey matt,

I have a R50X which has a similiar motor (GA5 49cc) it goes really well. Cant help with the Alabama laws but my scoot has been really reliable nad will sit at an indicated 65kph all day.

The Key West is a super scooter  you will be happy with it .

I have a Key West ( same as a 101) and so far it has been a lot of fun.  I purchased it used with 3800 miles and I know the previous owner had zero problems except for a recurring headlight bulb burning out.

    My husband bought me a TGB Key West scooter. I loved it for 15 days when the motor blowed. They kept it a month. Rode it 2 weeks and it was back in the shop because it would only start by the kick start and would not idle. I only had 248 miles on it when the motor locked up they don't know why. Now we are going round and round with the parts and labor warrenty people. Any one know about lemon laws on Scooters in North Carolina?

2006 but it only had 2 miles on it when I got it. When they delivered it when I bought it. They were late because they said the gas cap was bad. I should have known something was wrong then. Its been nothing but a headache. But when it runs its handles great.
