yes you can see it . you will have to look from the
rear of belt and a flashlight would help.
i sell many replacement variator fans because people
knock off the fins or strip the kick gear shroud screws
so use the correct tools to remove the front half of the variator.
impact wrench ;air or electric for removing the shroud screws
and the variator nut which btw is REVERSE THREADS!
in case your new to a impact wrench do not use it
to put on the shroud screws , use a ratchet & some thread lock -- blue or green
start the variator nut by hand tighten a bit with a ratchet till its
snug then you can use the impact wrench on the lower settings
remember if any of the screws or nut come loose your going
to have a bad day and maybe few parts to replace unless your lucky.
as for rollers ~~ instead i'd go with sliders , if your still have a stock motor 6gr - 8gr
