Hi All

I noticed a while back that my TGB Bullet has a vibration coming from somewhere under the seat when the revs get to between 6000rpm and 7000rpm.

I took it to the dealer the other day and he thought it could be the rear tyre out of balance but I'm not sure this is correct as it feels to be more the like the drive belt area.

Anyway if anyone has some useful diagnostic tips please let me know.

Cheers.

Hi steve,
Yeah it actually started before I did the upgrade but will check it out next time I get the cover off; However I did notice there we're quite a few flat spots on the rollers when I had them out; not sure if this can make a difference at all.

once you get flat spots the "shifting"  is rather rough .
the scooter lurch when re accelerating .
when you notice flat spots its time to replace the weights
also sliders last longer than  rollers .

I had the same problem with my brand new 2013 bullet RS50. Once I removed the wedding ring spacer in the variator the vibration ceased. It almost felt like the belt was trying to move to its full travel but the spacer was preventing it from doing so, causing the vibration.
