Each year a scooterthon is run here on the Gold Coast, raising money for charity. I entered a TGB 101s under the banner of Team BP Chinderah, riders coming from staff at the service station. Way tougher than expected, 24 hours continuous racing taking its toll. We were in the standard class, finishing after all 3 riders retired from injuries. The bike had two crash related breakdowns, one caused by a cracked airbox and the other by the kick starter dislodging the variator (duct tape and a spanner fixed the problems). A great event, people already talking about next year...
