roller weights vs. slider weights????

pros and cons? experience??? and size of weights in a key west 17x12mm???

sliders are 'sposed to give you  20% faster take off and better hill climbing .

manufacture's  statement...
"sliding rollers perform up to 20% better than standard round weights and last up to 18% longer with 22% less performance material loss"

if your tuning your variator start with a tuning set of rollers( 3 sets)
zero in and then buy the sliders
thats cheaper than buying 3 sets of sliders .

Oilyhans I have a KeyWest stock but unrestricted. I see you are using 8gram sliders. How muh do you weigh? I'm about 240 and was wondering if 8gram would be heavy enough for me. I live in an area with some hills. My top end is about 40mph now. I'd like a little more top end speed.
