TGB R 125x Bullet useful service specs

Hi, I am new to the forum, just bought a TGB R125X cheap, and its cheap for a reason!
Had a chubby youth running it for 3 years, doesn't look like its ever had a service. All shocks are shot, gearbox whining and a bold rear tyre. These are just the big issues not to mention the throttle sticking on, broken faring clips, missing wing mirrors and centre stand  :P Like i say, it was cheap!

There does not seem to be any stockists around for TGB parts, perhaps someone can tell me otherwise but it looks like its going to be a measure and modify situation for most items?!

I have found out by digging some useful info for people on service items for this bike and possibly the R50x, these are;

Engine Oil = 15w 40
Gear Oil = SAE90
Spark Plug = CR7HSA (NGK) 4t Stroke only!
Front Fork Seal size = 30 x 40.5 x 10.5mm
Fork Oil amount = around 150ml
Drive Belt size = 846 20 30
Rear Shock length = 130mm (Centre hole to Centre hole)

I really hope this info helps someone as this is not easy to come by it would seem!

If anyone knows where used spares are available i would love to know as i need a new exhaust and possibly a new Fork!

Cheers,
Craig  8)

hey Craig,
thanks for the  tips & your enthusiasm  .

just to let you and and anybody reading this that the
R50x is a 2 stroke and the 125 is a 4 stroke.
the plug for the 2t is a BPR7HA  with the CR7HSA  being a 4t plug.
and of course there is no engine oil used on a 2t.

however all your info does apply for the 4t !  ;)
most of the US TGB's are 150cc  with some older
Delivery's being 125cc

just in case you want  to get the official parts, service or owners
manuals here's the link

the TGB Delivery 125 parts might fit  but  you should
measure and see if the new parts would fit....
