i think i need a new carb for my keywest but i cant find one with the right choke power adapter. every 2 stroke carb ive seen has a smaller connector.
i bought a 2 stroke carb and was wondering if i can just clip the choke wires and splice them with the original carb adapter? can i just run it without a choke?
ive taken the original carb out and cleaned it 5 times. i give up. i dont know whats going on. the scooter starts and idles fine for about 5 minutes then it dies. if i take it for a ride, it will go fine but when i come to a stop sign it just conks out. sometimes it will restart after that and sometimes it wont and i have to wait 10-15 min.
ive tried adjusting the idle and air mixture screws. i cant get this thing right for the life of me.
any help would be appreciated.
