Ok so I aquired a mineralli moped 50cc head off of a V1 engine. It didn't have a head gasket.

Well compression test showed 30 psi. Same as with old head, it didn't even move when I put a cap full of sae30 in sparkplug hole and held engine vertically.

I'm so dumbfounded. I want this scooter to run. My friend has one that we welded a motion left Mopeds Cali pipe on and it rips at 45 all day.

I have a shit ton of experience with 2t 50-70cc Mopeds and scooters, worked at a motorcycle shop, and am in a moped club so I'm not dumb when it comes to this stuff, but I'm stuck. I need the stock head & head gasket that came with this bike. No o-ring bullshit.

I'm almost positive it's a huge head leak. Don't think it's my base gasket, piston, piston rings, or my crank seals. But it could be I guess, I don't think it's anything behind the piston rings because when I put oil in sparkplug hole it doesn't go above 30 psi.

usually the 70cc kits use the stock head....
i do have a used cylinder ,piston and a head.
also you can pick up stock TGB  heads online for about $25

you might try spraying some soapy water on the head and
see if there are any bubbles when you turn the motor over
not sure it will work but it might be worth a try in locating the leak.
 target the plug and head
