Hi,

My crank blocks up sometimes when I start the scoot via the ign button. When I open the crankcase, the pinion gear had come up and I have to put it back in place. It doesn't happen when I crankstart it. HELP

perhaps you need to lubricate it   or it is loose
and even worn out from someone pressing the
button too long.

have you tried removing the side cover and starting with the
button while you watch ?

It was the clutch that was broken in half, noticed when I opened it, luckly my local dealer had them in stock. Changed it, had to also change the Bendix because the blocker pushing it back into place was broken, all works fine now!
