Thank you for the info.
So, maintaining neg pressure on the vac line should cause gas to CONTINUE to drip out the gas line?
I'll see if that's what's happening.
Today, I was zipping along, between 30 & 40 MPH, when it just went sput, sput, DIE!
Pulled off the vac line, sucked on it a while, poked a bit of nylon fishing line down into the brass connector.
It started up easily enough, but revving the engine high caused it to die.
So I would give it a LITTLE gas, let off right away, push with my feet, get 4 or 5 feet, rev, let off, push.
Got to the top of a long downhill, got it rolling down, and after that, I was able to keep it at 30 MPH, until fairly near home. Then, got it up to about 40. And it kept running.
I'm going to pull, soak, and clean the carb.
And, while I'm at it, may as well wash the air filter.
Any other advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
